The Health Manager is responsible for the administration, operations, and leadership of the community-based Health Department.
Duties
- The Health Manager is responsible for the efficient management of the department, setting goals and measuring the achievement of the department's objectives by leading the staff as a skilled program manager who is a positive role model. The Health Manager will liaise with other service providers to meet identified community health needs and to assist in the development of integrated holistic programs and services.
Qualifications
- Business Administration or Health Administration
- Three years to five years, related experience
- Experience supervising and managing staff as well as developing and managing budgets

- Ability to work independently and build effective interpersonal relationship
- Ability to build and supervise an effective team.
- Ability to work collaboratively with CAO in establishing goals.
- Preparation of budgets and funding proposal
- Ability to self-regulate, meet deadlines, and pay attention to deta
- Experience with: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher and Powerpo
- Recognizes and respects diversity and understands Indigenous cultur
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple demands effectivel
- Ability to manage budgets, meet reporting requirements and implement policy and procedures
WAGE:
Final wage will be determined based on qualifications, education and experience.

Stswecem’c Xget’tem First Nation is a northern Secwepemc First Nation government located in a semi-remote area of the Cariboo region of British Columbia, approximately 85 kilometers southwest of Williams Lake and 58 kilometers northwest of Clinton.
We are one of 17 distinct Secwepemc Nations and we have joined with three other northern Secwepemc nations to form Northern Secwepemc te Qelmucw (NStQ); we are working through the treaty process, on the path to self-determination.
