My mother is Lila (Billy) Adams and my father is Willie Adams; my grand Mother on my Mothers side was Mary Bill and my grandfather is Willy Billy; on my Fathers side my Grand Mother was Delia (Louie) Adams and my Grandfather is Pascal Adams. I have six children, Hank Adams, Donnie Adams, Allan Adams, Willie Adams, Ray (Sam) Adams and Veronica Adams. My Grand Children Taylor, Shante, Anderson, Lila, Leon, Lola, Jade, Asuna, Luka and Hope.

I was elected Kukpi’7 October 9, 2022. I have been involved in our community since 1996 first as a Traditional Use Researcher following that I was hired on as the Self-Government Coordinator and then in 2002 I was elected as kukpi’7, in total I served 6 terms as Kukpi’7. Over the last 26 years I served in various capacities here in our community Consulting for community on the Taseko Prosperity Project, Treaty Manager, Community Support Worker and also the Senior Treaty manager at the Norther Shuswap Tribal Council.

My main goal is to achieve a Treaty agreement with BC and Canada and currently we are working toward transition to a Treaty Agreement through various processes such at the First Nations Financial Management Act and also the First Nations Land Management Act, the Land Code.
